Property website, Zoopla.co.uk has announced it has acquired property technology company, Byteplay Ltd, for an undisclosed sum.

The Byteplay assets acquired include OnOneMap.com, DotHomes.com and Extate.com which will all now be re-directed to Zoopla.co.uk, along with a host of local propertygazette websites, such as bristolpropertygazette.co.uk and coventrypropertygazette.co.uk which cover every main UK town from Penzance to Perth.

e deal stands to be a win for estate agents advertising their properties on Zoopla.co.uk, who will now gain more exposure and receive more leads via these local property sites as a result of the acquisition. Zoopla.co.uk now owns directly and powers an impressive range of local and national websites, offering estate agents unrivalled exposure across the internet.

Zoopla.co.uk continues to mount a serious challenge to market leader Rightmove, having recently won the support and endorsement from the three largest estate agent groups in the country, Countrywide, Connells and LSL Property Services.

Alex Chesterman, Founder and CEO of Zoopla.co.uk said: Byteplay has a number of interesting assets which will allow us to better serve our member agents and provide even more enquires and greater exposure.
