Uniplaces continues UK expansion

Uniplaces, the international booking platform for student accommodation, has partnered with two major companies that own and manage student accommodation, iQ Student Accommodation and Fresh Student Living – adding over 1,500 new rooms to Uniplaces’ booking platform.

Launched in London in 2013, Uniplaces provides international and domestic students with a safe and easy way to book verified accommodation online, offering a choice of high quality accommodation across London.

With these new partnerships Uniplaces can now offer London students a choice of over 11,000 rooms in the UK capital, as well as 4,000 in Lisbon and 1,000 in Madrid, where Uniplaces launched last month.

Earlier this year, Uniplaces also announced a deal with UNITE – adding the leading national student accommodation provider’s huge portfolio of 41,000 rooms and over 120 properties to its database.

Talking about the development, CEO and Founder, Ben Grech said:

“Uniplaces is hugely excited to be working alongside these reputable student accommodation providers, both of which offer students coming to London even  more choice – as well as something new and exciting – when it comes to finding a place to live while they are here.

“We are uniquely placed to provide students, from the UK and abroad, with easy access to the best accommodation options and, as such, both iQ Student Accommodation and Fresh Student Living are perfect partners for Uniplaces.”

Accommodation provided by Fresh Student Living is aimed at students looking for stylish rooms or a studio flat close to any of the major London Universities, with all inclusive bills and facilities such as a gym and swimming pool at selected sites particularly appealing to international students.

iQ Student Accommodation offers a great range of stylish shared flats and studios, designed especially with students in mind. All iQ schemes feature contemporary social hubs and many contain gyms, art rooms, music practice rooms and more to ensure students make the most of their time when they are away from university.
