UK-based international residential property portal www.HomesGoFast.com has beaten many of its closest competitors to be ranked 19th in the world following an independent survey of the Global Top 100 property portals.
The independent portal run by a dedicated staff with tiny overheads per annum soundly beat many of the world’s biggest portals which have been bought by huge media conglomerates.
The leading business portal for the overseas property industry, Globaledge, (www.globaledge.co.uk) compiled the table of the world’s most important portals by combining its own research into the leading 200 worldwide property portals with SEOMoz’ "Linkscape" programme. Linkscape provides data on more than 38 billion URLs across 240 million domains.
Whilst four portals from the US and two from China are positioned in the top eight, www.HomesGoFast.com pushed www.findaproperty.com into 20th place, www.primelocation.com into 21st, www.propertyfinder.com (28th place) and www.hotproperty.co.uk (56th).
Nick Marr, CEO of HomesGoFast said: "The large media groups have not performed well in this independent ranking. The fact that we have come out in the top 20 indicates that a small dedicated team making careful and clever use of outsourcing can take on companies with huge budgets.
