Buildings sought for homeless people this Christmas

Over 8,000 volunteers will help run nine centres across London which also offer training and education opportunities. Seven centres are already in place, hosted by academies and colleges to provide an inspirational environment.

The charity is calling on businesses or individuals to offer empty buildings over the Christmas period, ideally in East or South East London, the City or Southbank. Crisis can utilise a wide range of buildings from office blocks to public buildings.

Leslie Morphy, Chief Executive of Crisis, said: "Without the extraordinary generosity of building donors year in, year out, Crisis at Christmas would not be possible. This year we have already found seven suitable buildings – we are now searching for our final two."
