Stamford Homes makes a return to its building roots

The acquisition of the 59-home development from Scottish-based Stewart Milne Homes was completed a few days ago – with a showhome now poised for an April 2010 opening.

The development will comprise two, three, four and five-bedroom homes worth a total of £15 million.

A sales and marketing suite is currently open at the development and Stamford Homes has welcomed sales advisor Kim Lawrence to the team.

Stamford Homes regional sales and marketing director Peter Bond said: “We are delighted to be back in Stamford, the town where the business started more than half a century ago and where we have continued to build through the years. Our company name was adopted from the town and is now a well-respected name throughout the East Midlands.

“We will be working to the existing building designs and construction plans, while incorporating our own high quality specifications along with way.

"This is great news for the town and for the house buying public in general – demonstrating that we do have confidence in the market and an it marks an excellent opportunity for us locally.
