ARLA – of which Leaders is a fully bonded member – is a professional, self-regulating body which promotes high standards and scrupulous practice within the lettings industry. Landlords and tenants can be assured that in choosing an ARLA member letting agent they are in safe hands.
Neal’s role will require him to act as a point of contact for ARLA member agents in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire should they need help or advice; work to increase membership of ARLA within the county; and organise regional meetings to discuss any hot topics or issues affecting residential letting.
Along with other regional representatives from around the country, Neal will also attend meetings with ARLA National Council ensuring that local members are represented at national level.
ARLA’s Head of Operations, Ian Potter said: "Congratulations to Neal on this new appointment. Neal has been fulfilling this role very successfully for Sussex over the last few years where he proved himself a very competent manager, organising regular meetings and invigorating local membership issues. I am confident that he will bring the same enthusiasm to reinvigorate ARLA’s membership in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire."
Leaders’s managing director, Paul Weller said: "We are delighted with Neal’s appointment, which he has earned through his outstanding knowledge of lettings and his commitment to high standards. Neal’s role will ultimately benefit our landlords and tenants as it will give us first-hand knowledge of developments in the industry as well as the means to contribute directly to improving industry standards.
"It is most fitting for this position to be taken up by a Leaders employee as we were founded by the co-founder of ARLA and have long been associated with pioneering better standards for landlords, tenants and agents alike."
