The awards were set up in 2004 by Estate Agency Events to celebrate and endorse best practice in the industry and to date remain the only awards to be supported by the Ombudsman AND the NAEA and ARLA with the judging process overseen in its entirety by the Ombudsman himself, Christopher Hamer.
Peter Knight, Chairman of Estate Agency Events said, “With the entire industry having been through the most difficult period for 20 years, we’ve worked hard to ensure that our awards remain head and shoulders above the rest in terms of the value for the winners. It was with this mind that we approached The Sunday Times for their support as we wanted to give hard working estate agencies a platform to show off their dedication and fantastic service whilst also raising consumer awareness of their achievements.
“We have reduced the entry price to just £149 (excluding VAT per category) and with three size bands for sales and lettings plus specialist categories we are confident of attracting the very best estate agencies to enter.”
Sophie Williams, Events Director for Estate Agency Events said, “It’s our hope that estate agencies will see that winning an Estate Agency of the Year Award this year will have even more value. All winners will be able to display their medals, complete with The Sunday
Times branding, on all marketing materials from their website and property particulars to window displays and sale boards, so successful agencies will achieve maximum standout from their competitors and boost their profile among their local communities.”
The deadline for registration is 17th July but participating agents then have until 31st August to complete and return their entries. For more information on categories and how to enter please visit www.estateagencyevents.com or telephone 01372 370847.
