Property portal Zoopla reports record start to 2015

Zoopla Property Group (ZPG) has reported record levels of both website and mobile activity during the period 1 January to 13 January, with new highs seen in the number of visits across its platform.

On Tuesday 13 January the ZPG sites saw a record level of traffic at just under 2m visits in a single day, with traffic for the period up 7.3% over the same period last year. Continue reading

New website helps people steer clear of rogue electricians

A new website will provide an easy to use and single information point for people to find a registered, competent electrician in their area, or to check that a company they are planning on using is registered.

Similar to the ‘Gas Safe Register’ for boiler engineers the ‘Competent Person Electrical Register’ lists electricians who meet core technical standards required by government. Continue reading

More than 20% of Zoopla members take up shares

Zoopla Property Group Plc (ZPG) will today float on the London Stock Exchange and the company has announced that over 20% of its agent and developer members have taken up their rights to purchase shares at a discount to the offer price in the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO).

ZPG’s members who have elected to buy shares in the IPO will initially be allocated £9.2m of shares for a total investment of £7.4m. Continue reading

Zoopla release prospectus and confirm member offer

Following Zoopla Property Group’s (ZPG) recent announcement of its intention to float on the London Stock Exchange, it has released its prospectus and has confirmed that the exclusive Member Offer is now open, allowing its agent and developer members to subscribe for shares in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) at a 20% discount to the IPO price.

All ZPG members will receive a written communication along with an application form for the Member offer over the next couple of days which will need to be returned by those who wish to subscribe for the discounted shares by 13th June. Continue reading

New website to deliver reconnection support to homeless

A website set up to provide guidance to British organisations helping destitute rough sleepers to return home has been updated and expanded to feature key information on homeless services across the European Union.

The Routes Home website, developed by homelessness charity Thames Reach, now includes information about homeless services in France, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Holland and Greece. The navigational structure has also been improved to make it easier for people to use the site. Continue reading
