House prices up 2 per cent in quarter to May

House prices in the latest three months (March-May) were 2.0% higher than in the preceding three months (December 2014-February 2015) according to the latest Halifax House Price Index. The quarterly rate of change fell for the second successive month and compares with 2.6% in March.
